Who I Am – A Professor Turned Master’s Tutor & Coach
I’m Dr Nicky Priaulx, a former Professor of Law and now the Master’s Degree Expert. I’ve taught and supervised hundreds of Master’s and PhD students, led degree programmes, examined dissertations and theses, mentored new academics and held senior positions including, Director of Postgraduate Studies.
Extensively experienced as a senior university educator, fully promoted, multiply nominated for prestigious teaching awards, with a highly successful research career, I longed to spend more time with students helping them develop academically and in broader confidence. So I left university life to work with students direct.

All sessions are delivered online through Microsoft Teams, making it easy for students in the UK and worldwide to access high-quality support from a trusted academic.

The free consultation is an opportunity for us to informally chat about how you are getting on and what help you might need. It’s also an opportunity for you to get a sense of whether I’d be someone you’d like to work with.
