Terms

By using Master’s Degree Expert’s services, you agree to these terms and conditions.  These terms have been written with a strong commitment to plain English and to you understanding what terms apply and when. It is a condition of purchase that you have read the terms and conditions. If there is anything that you do not understand, please contact Dr Nicky Priaulx.

1. Introduction

1.1 About Our Services

The Master’s Degree Expert provides coaching, support and training direct to Master’s students to help them excel on Master’s programmes in the UK. Dr Nicky, the Master’s Degree Expert is a postgraduate specialist with extensive experience at top UK universities and uses her deep expertise to provide 1:1 coaching, masterclasses and courses exclusively for Master’s degree students. From time to time, Nicky helps students at undergraduate level or at PhD level, as well as students pursuing university programmes outside of the UK, but this is situation-dependent and is decided on a discretionary basis.

2. Courses

2.1 Delivery Format

All our courses are free, and are delivered online using YouTube as the main platform.

2.2 Students’ Responsibilities

The nature of the guidance and tips offered in the Master’s Degree Expert’s courses tend to speak to general issues around writing technique, mindset, organisational skills and smart working practices; areas that are often not the subject of guidance on most Master’s programmes. While this minimises the potential for Dr Nicky’s advice conflicting with advice given by a student’s own tutor/department/programme, where there is a difference in approach, students must defer to the advice they have been given by their tutors/department/programme leaders. It is also the responsibility of students to check the rules and policies that apply to their Master’s level work (for example, by reading the programme handbook, module handbooks, and attending induction events and workshops on postgraduate study skills) at their own institution.
